Jamie Silva (East Providence) -All American football player at Boston College, Currently plays Safety for the Indianapolis Colts.
Matthew Sherry (East Providence)- Played at Villanova, Tight end with the Bengals.
Will Blackmon (Providence)- Drafted by the Packers, Currently plays for the Giants.(considered the best Kr/Pr in the NFL) played football at Bishop Hendricken and Boston College. Ernie Digregorio - NBA Rookie of the Year in 1974 was born in North Providence and played College Basketball at Providence College. Led the NBA in free throw percentage and assists his rookie year! Finished his career with the Celtics.

Marvin Barnes (Providence) - Same as above. Played in the ABA and NBA. His career was shortened by drugs and alcohol. In high school, he robbed someone while wearing his Central High School basketball jacket. Not the brightest bulb in the box, but a great player.
