By not thinking about the situation in front of them, probably if they decided to just focus on what way they think the goalkeeper is moving before hitting the ball with pace with as much accuracy as possible and with no thoughts about what if I miss, etc. I guess to block out the crowd, the situation, the negative thoughts that could come and just believe in their own ability that this is a great chance to score and to do it.

However, maybe other international teams are just much more confident in their own ability and skills that it takes over any feelings of doubt in their minds until they actually miss a penalty. Whereas maybe English Players who are less confident have those doubts when they step up to take penalties and makes them more likely to miss. However, maybe this is all crap I'm saying and its just down to pure luck.

What Red blood cells that are bathed in blood neither shrink nor swell and burst If the concentration of blood is 0.5 M what could be the concentration of cytoplasm of RBCs?

The concentration of the cytoplasm of red blood cells is approximately 0.3 M, which is lower than the blood concentration of 0.5 M. This difference in osmolarity helps maintain the shape and integrity of the red blood cells by preventing them from shrinking or swelling due to osmotic pressure.

Osmosis is important survival of cells?

Osmosis is the movement of water across a semipermeable membrane from an area of low solute concentration to an area of high solute concentration. In cells, osmosis helps maintain the balance of water and electrolytes, ensuring proper cell function and avoiding dehydration or swelling, which could be detrimental to cell survival. Cells can regulate osmosis through mechanisms like ion pumps, which actively transport ions to maintain the osmotic balance.
