In 1978 Boulder, Colorado, while doing a distance throwing demonstration at a North American Series (NAS) Frisbee Event, Ken Westerfield threw a sidearm 119-gram World Class Model Frisbee 552 feet. These are the two longest sidearm (forehand) throws ever.

∙ 10y agoThe sidearm (also known as forehand) is a flying disc throwing technique. Placing your two fingers under the disc and against the rim with your thumb on top. The release looks similar to a baseball sidearm throw. The distance record for the sidearm is 552 feet, Boulder, Colorado, 1978. Ken Westerfield using a 119-gram World Class Model Frisbee.

Yes it is possible to be a sidewinder and throw a knuckleball. I have seen many people who can do it and I occasionally throw my knuckleball with a sidearm motion.
