It depends. No matter what your not going to get anything close to the massive waves you would find in Hawaii. You might be able to get some decent waves if its a lake like for example lake Michigan or any other of the Great Lakes. If there isn't a lake or an ocean near you, then maybe you could rent out a wave pool for you and some friends at a water park. I know that some places will let you do that.:)

Yea, I used to go there every weekend with my buddies to surf. Sometimes we caught 10-footers. It's insane! You should definitely go try it. :)
