The match was between India and Pakistan. There was a huge crowd in the stadium. They all were cheering and clapping for their teams. I went with two of my friends. We all were enjoying a lot and cheering for the Indian team.

The toss was won by the Indian team and they chose for bating. The match was of five overs. The target for Pakistani team was of 180 runs. The first over was played by two of the players and they had made 50 runs. But then the match was not so good as the cricketers were not able to make a grip and one after the other was either bowled out or caught out. It was very sad for the Pakistani team and their supporters also got angry. They started throwing shoes, stones and anything which they saw near them on the bowlers. There was lot of chaos and even some of them entered the field.

The players were hard defending themselves and then the police arrived. As soon as the police arrived they started to hit everyone with the sticks so that the matter could be handled. The police arrested few of them. 20 people were injured very severely. The situation came under control after two hours. We had to stay there for very long as the inspectors were investigating and asking few questions to almost every one. The exciting match turned to be very dreadful.

I will never be able to forget this dreadful match. But I was happy that I was safe.
