As of October 2nd, 2014, the Pittsburgh Steelers are 2-2. It is still very early in the season so it is difficult to determine if the Pittsburgh Steelers will make the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl. Stay tuned.

A pattern:

2004 = lost in the playoff's

2005 = won Super Bowl XL

2006 = miss playoffs

2007 = lost in the playoffs

2008 = won Super Bowl XLIII

2009 = miss playoffs (barely ... stupid Colts)

2010 = lost in the playoffs

Mostly the same team, Basically the same coach and the same ownership throughout the above run.

I personally LOVE the Steelers' chances next year.

No. For the 2012 season, where the playoffs began in 2013, the Steelers failed to make it. They also did not make the playoffs for the 2013 season.
