most likely no, the sport is not big enough to have the same potential as an olympic sport as compared to others like Basketball, or running.

actually the sport is plenty big enough, the problem is a few reasons, first of which is tournament rules vary from league to league so there is not one set of accepted rules, also there is a wait list of sports waiting to get into the Olympic games, in a nutshell we would need a set of unified rules and then wait to get in for who knows how many years

No, paintball is a long way off from being in the Olympics, while it is played almost everywhere the thing that really holds it back is that there is not a universally set of endorsed rules, depending on where you are the rules are different and a unified set of rules is a requirement for a sport to make it into the Olympics
