Physically it would be dangerous for a women to play at the higher levels of football. In the NFL you're not just talking about big people you're talking about massive, strong individuals. Women on average don't grow large enough to compete. How many 6'8 315lbs women do you see walking around. How many women do you know with a 400 lbs bench press or a 700 lbs squat. women aren't physically built to take the beating that comes in the NFL. If a women was to make it to the NFL it could only be as a kicker. That's due to the fact that of all positions that particular position rarely if ever actually gets hit. there's no reason that a women can't kick a ball 45 yards accuratley and consistantly. But I also think that you wont see that for a long time because of societal boundries not because of physical limitations.
