It is important to think for yourself because only you can fabricate an idea that you will agree with yourself. Even if you are proven incorrect, you actually learn something and advance in the world of thoughts. This may sound unavailing, however, you will learn how to argue in a debate, gain information about a specific topic, or even what arguments to evade and how to do so. Only if one thinks for him/herself will they be able to master the pivotal gift of imagination. Even if some people will agree that knowledge is the key to everything, imagination far transcends the powers of knowledge.
