Space is crucial in Netball. If the space is clogged up, you struggle to make successful leads, and it is easy for the defending tem to take intercepts.
Attacking shooters will often set screens, this stops the defending from being able to contect the ball and allows the shooter to move in the space. This helps to open up the court.
A specific style of defence to cut up the space is called a zone. Instead of defending on the player, you defend the space. This is to try and force the attacking team to throw across court and high balls, it is then easy for the defending team to read the ball and has time to move their feet and take intercepts.
New Zealand are wll known for their use of the Zone defence.

I play netball myself and have learnt how to do this many times. Creating space on a netball court means to spread out and not bunching up with all your players calling for the ball at the same part of the court because your not going to get the ball. Make sure you spread out around the court and stay away from your defender as much as you can. And with attacking, its the opposite. Good luck!
It's not really a case of CREATING space than it is controlling it. The aim of moving certain spaces is to help players form a better way to hold possession of the ball. Players don't always make space to try and get the ball, merely to switch places with another player, who then gets the ball, and then the first players who made the space will see to the second ball.
This is called planning ahead. Operating space is a crucial fact and skill needed in netball.
Cuz the players can't move with the ball. And can only hold it for 3 seconds. They find space to make sure they don't let the opponent have the ball
Creating space in Netball is important because it lets the ball move further down the court and it gives you more room to run and get the ball.
