its unusual shape

jdiesel121... the reason that it has an unusual shape is that the Football was invented around 1876 by a man by the name of Walter Camp and he figured out that with the shape of the football it is more aerodynamic than any other ball that was created at the time so that is what makes it go farther than other balls.

The more air pressure the football has the harder grip. the ball is the less the air pressure the less grip it has
too much air pressure can be bad too

Because it light weight and more than likely been kicked hard. I'm not going to go into physics but if anyone else would want to be my guest.

When a soccer ball is kicked which accelerates faster the soccer ball or the foot?

The two will relatively travel the same speed, although the soccer ball may travel slightly faster do to its weight and size. So therefore the soccer ball will accelerate faster.

How does the pressure inside a soccer ball affect the distance the soccer ball travels after the ball is kicked?

the more air that is in the ball is how far it will travel, for example a flat ball will not travel as far as a pumped ball. why? because the bounciness of the ball would not be used when it is not pumped however this is not really so as if a ball is pumped up to the point that it is hard it will not travel as far as it would if you released some of the air out of it. every ball that needs air to work has an optimal psi if a ball is pumped to that psi it will travel by far the best than below or above.

How does foot length affect how far you can kick a soccer ball?

the way it affects it is because a big foot takes up the length of the ball so that you can kick it farther, for instance, a kid who has a small foot, can not kick the ball as far it is not taking up all the space on the ball

How do you make a travel soccer team?

I am also thinking about joining travel soccer. I think it is a great thing to do and if soccer is your sport then go ahead and try out. All you need is practice! Get yourself a soccer ball and a few friends who also enjoy soccer (remember: never force someone to play a sport) and practice! Travel soccer requires a lot of practice so if you don't have time to practice don't sign up. Good Luck with tryouts!

How does the soccer ball shape help it in soccer?

Soccer balls are generally spherical, as required by Law 2 of the Laws of the Game, which give the rules of soccer worldwide. The philosophy behind using a spherical ball is that it makes the ball fair, predictable, and easy to handle so that the skill of the players, not the quirks of the ball, is the deciding factor in how the ball behaves when played.
