"I offered Albert a watch. Apparently he has one already," Holliday joked Thursday at Busch Stadium during a press conference that began with the announcement he'll wear No. 7 instead of the No. 15 he had last season or the No. 5 he wore with Colorado. "I know Jim Edmonds was a big deal here and he wore No. 15. So I was kind of hoping to have my own number. Mickey Mantle wore No. 7. He's from Oklahoma (too). I like single digits."
