Many ppl say that strategy is one of the biggest parts in playing any sport. I think that no matter how good or great your tactics/strategy is for any given sport, it all comes down to how good you are in general, and if you have enough natural ability to play that given sport better than others. but that's just my opinion. you can ask a bunch of ppl at your school and see what they say. you are bound to find a myriad of different answers.
fitnesss affects because when training your ability for this sport increases. For example in hockey when the season is over many like to play lacross in the summer time. It helps you cardio. Makes you able to rune or skate faster but key, makes you run or skate for longer then you were able to before! So fitness will help you improve in certain places of the sport you play.
