The San Francisco 49ers, not the New York Giants, had the '34' and '35' decals on their helmets. Those decals were in honor of former 49ers running backs (and Hall of Famers) Joe Perry (34) and John Henry Johnson (35) who both passed away in the offseason prior to the 2011 season.
