When looking at the Lions history, they were one of the best teams in the NFL in the 1950s when they won three NFL championships (1952, 1953, 1957) and lost a fourth NFL championship game (1954). They were a premier team. In 1964, William Clay Ford bought the team and, since then, they have won all of one playoff game. A football team is a business, just like IBM or a car dealership or a 7-11. A quality product and with quality service begins with good management and leadership. For the last 43 seasons, the Lions, overall, have been a poor team. It's time for a change of ownership with the Lions. --------------------------------------- Poor management, basically.
