Ronald Regan's second inaugural was the first to have to compete with Super Bowl Sunday in 1985
I think so- for his second term, January 20 was on Sunday, so the official inauguration was held the next day but he would have been sworn in on the 20th.
No
This is such a dumb question Did anybody ever tell you that the only dumb questions are the ones not asked. As you are obviously advertising your own cerebrial disfunction, why don't you stop wasting space and wait until someone who is not too lazy to research information on a question, and then learn something. The answer is Ronald Reagan, 1985.
the 1920 superbowl
Technically, Ronald Reagans 2nd term ignauguration fell on the same date as Super Bowl XIX. Hpwever, since the 2oth was a sunday, Reagan has a small private ceremony at the White House. There was a second, public, ignauguration held indoors (because of freezing cold temperatures) at the Capitol January 21, 1985.
Yes unless it falls on a Sunday.
It's Sunday
Ronald Reagan
George H.W. Bush's inauguration was on January 20, 1989. George W. Bush's first inauguration was on January 20, 2001, and his second was on January 20, 2005. The inaugural celebration is held on the 21st only when the 20th falls on a Sunday. Since Inauguration Day was moved to January 20 in 1937, that has happened only three times, in 1957 (affecting Dwight D. Eisenhower), in 1985 (affecting Ronald Reagan), and in 2013 (affecting Barack Obama). The next time will be in 2041.
its when the president will be sworn in to office and it is going to be on SUNDAY JANUARY 20TH 2013
Because he was a Christian, and believed that the Sabbath (Sunday) was a holy day, and that it was a day of rest.
