John Taylor 3rd
During the regular season, from June 1st through October 3rd, Derek Jeter hit 10 home runs.
Third Base because when he was on the mariners and rangers he played short stop when he singed on to the Yankees Derek jeter was the short stop (and he still is) so they moved him to 3rd base
On July 1, 1994, against the Boston Red Sox, Derek Jeter caught a foul ball down the third base line and his momentum carried him into the stands. He bruised his face and lacerated his chin in the process.
They can both play ShortStop and are both Future Hall-Of-Famers and are the 1st and 3rd best players of all time A-Rod's 1st of all time Jeter is Third after Babe Ruth in Second

There have been many captains of the Yankees. These are the most famous ones, Lou Gehrig, Thurman Munson, and Derek Jeter. 1st Hal Chase 2nd Roger Peckinpaugh 3rd Babe Ruth 4th Everett Scott 5th Lou Gehrig 6th Thurman Munson 7th Graig Nettles 8th Willie Randolph 9th Ron Guidry 10th Don Mattingly 11th Derek Jeter
If a balk was called it would be called on his move to 3rd, not the move to 2nd in this situation. Balks are called on first movement, so as long as he did everything properly "stepping to 3rd", then he can throw to wherever he wants
Derek Jeter became captain on June 3rd, 2003. It is a relative rarity that Yankee teams with uniformed captains win the World Series. The Yankees have had captains during all or part of 52 seasons, and yet have only won the World Series 7 times with captains--in 1923 under Everett Scott, in 1936-1938 under Lou Gehrig, in 1977-78 under Thurman Munson, and in 2009 under Jeter. Gehrig was considered the captain even after he retired until his death in 1941. Although the Yankees won championships in 1939 and 1941, Gehrig was not in uniform, and in fact died in June of 1941.
.309 in 2005Derek Jeter finished in 6th place in the American League in hitting, with a .309 batting average in 2005. He had 202 hits in 654 at bats. He also had 19 home runs, 70 RBI's, and 122 runs scored that year. It was also the only year of two that he did not play in the All Star team from 1998 to the present. The other year was 2003. In 2003 he finished 3rd with a 324 batting average.
Derek has no difficulties. He leads the Yankees in batting average (.314), Hits (93) and has more home runs than he did all last season. He also is tied for 1st place in the AL for hits and has 40 runs scored as of June 20th. He will have an amazing season and move into 3rd place all-time with his 8th 200 hit season. He is also a few hits from 13th place all-time in hits. Jeter always heats up in the last 2 months of the season and could very well end up with his 1st batting title. He is also playing the field and running as well as he ever has (if not better). Age is meaningless....ask Satchel Paige (59) when he finished his major league career, and Nolan Ryan,Pete Rose and so many others.
This would be 3rd base. 3rd base is the oral stage in a relationship.
