The Patriots don't really suck all that much. Considering their 7 Super Bowl appearances, 6 Hall of Famers, and many individual awards along with 13 consecutive winning seasons they're pretty good for the NFl

As far as the NFL is concerned, Tom Brady and the passing game of The Patriots is a strength. As far as the Revolutionary War goes, guerrilla fighting was a strength. After seeing some other questions, I assume you wanted to know about the Revolutionary War. You might also consider that the Patriots had a purpose - Freedom. The British were there because they were ordered to and had no real stake in the war.
