Terry Bradshaw was the QB for the 4 SuperBowl wins in the '70's (painful for me as a Cowboys fan). Neil O'Donnell was the QB for the SuperBowl loss in 1995 (a much happier game for a Cowboy fan). Ben Roethlisberger was the QB for the SuperBowl win in 2005. He was the youngest QB ever to win a SB although he had a very poor game statistically (lowest QB rating in a SB by a winning WB).
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been to 7 Super Bowls, winning 6. Terry Bradshaw won 4 and Ben Roethlisberger has won 2.
When Troy Polamalu goes bald.
He played for the Steelers from 1977-1978, he coached Pittsburgh's defensive backs from 1981-1983. He was then the defensive coordinator from 1984-1988. He was never the head coach.
In the 1979 season, the Steelers cornerbacks were Mel Blount and J.T. Thomas, the free safety was Ron Johnson and the strong safety was Donnie Shell.

Troy Polamalu (SS), William Gay (CB), Ike Taylor (CB), Bryant McFadden (CB), and Ryan Clark (FS).
No. Mike Tomlin won Super Bowl XLIII as the Steelers head coach. He won Super Bowl XXXVII as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive backs coach.
The running backs along with Jerome Bettis were Fred McAfee and George Jones. The fullbacks were Tim Lester and Jon Witman.
"Big" Ben Roethlisberger is the starting quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Standing 6'5" and weighing in at 241lbs, Big Ben is one of the largest quarter-backs in the league. Before the retirement of Brett Favre, Big Ben had the second deepest arm in the NFL. Now there's no one in the league that can throw as far as Big Ben. Ben also won two super bowls, however, he preformed poorly in one, and moderately in the other. Big Ben was the second quarter-back in NFL history to win the "NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year" award, he accomplished this in 2004. Since then there have been two other quarter-backs to win it. Big Ben is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the league & can make the NFL Hall of Fame if he continues to play at the level he has played at in his five years with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is the current largest quarterback, at 6'5" and 252lbs.

In the past 5 years there has been a few different starters fro the steelers. First there was Jerome Bettis, then Duece Staley, then Willie Parker, who is currently backed up by Rashard Mendenhall(sp.), Mewelde Moore, and Carey Davis.
Troy Polamalu is a strong safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers. His job is to cover the 'strong side' of the offense by helping shut down the run and breaking up pass plays. It's a hard hitting position, even though these players are defensive backs, they hit like linebackers.
