It was a goalie
I'd have to do some checking, but it might be Manon Rheaume, who attempted to become the first female NHL player....she was a goalie...
No. Since the expansion draft was held one day before the Entry draft the first player the wild had rights to was Goalie Jamie Mclennen
I have personal experience with this... Since I AM A GOALIE! I've found that you don't get a head injury that easily! The most common injury that has happen to me is a knee injury! That's happen to me.. Other injuries that may happen are.. something with your hands/arms, your knees, your legs. I hope I answered your question they way you wanted it to be answered.
They are the first because the team wants to show their respect for the goalie because he is the most valuable player usually. Sometimes players cut in front of goalies because they don't notice their impotance of stopping pucks from going in.
I'm assuming here you mean pulling a goalie at the end of a game for an extra attacker. If so, it was first done by Boston Bruins coach Art Ross in the second game of a playoff series against the Canadiens on March 26, 1931. Bruins didn't score with the extra attacker and Montreal didn't get an empty net goal. The game ended in a 1-0 score for Canadiens.
Impossible to answer!
The Boston Bruins have two goalies. Tim Thomas and Tuukka Rask. Thomas is the first goalie while Rask is second.

Do you mean in a set kick, a pk, or just regular play and he is taking a shot. In a set kick or regular play every player on the field can be in the goalie box. If it is during a pk then only the shooter and the goalie can be in the box at first while all the other players have to be on the outside of the box until the ball is kicked.
