John Elway (born June 28, 1960) was drafted #1 by the Baltimore Colts in 1983, but was traded to the Denver Broncos, where he played his entire NFL career (1983-1998 seasons). Elway retired after Denver won its second consecutive Super Bowl (XXXII and XXXIII) in 1999.
