Weeb was a college team mate of Paul Brown, and began his coaching career as coach of Oxford McGuffey High School, having his first un beaten, un tied and un scored upon season in the fall of 1937. After Pearl Harbour, Weeb joined Paul as an assistant coach at the Great Lakes Naval Air Training Center. He was the coach of a Colt team's championship season several years prior to Super Bowl III. When he retired, he moved back to Oxford, Ohio since his daughters had married Oxford boys. I attended his Masonic funeral service.
