Tom Dempsey. He has an alternate claim to fame on November 8, 1970 he kicked a NFL record 63 yard field goal with two seconds remaining for the New Orleans Saints defeating the Detroit Lions (19-17) - a record* that still stands today! (It was tied by Jason Elam of the Denver Broncos October 25, 1998 against the Jacksonville Jaguars)

NOTE: The 65 yard FG kicked by Ola Kimrin of the Denver Broncos in 2002 was kicked preseason and is NOT eligible for the record.
