No Steve Marriucci was never the head coach of the Chicago Bears. In 1975 he was the qb for Northern Michigan and in 1985 became the recievers coach for the USFL's Orlando Renegades. 1991-1995 he was the qb coach for the Green Bay Packers until his first head coaching position for the San Fransisco 49ers. In 2003 he became the head coach for the Detroit Lions and was fired by the Lions in 2005. To this date he has not returned to coaching.
