The most famous of which would likely be Walter Ray Williams, Jr. Williams holds the all-time record for most tour wins with 44 and counting and is considered by most fans and pros alike to be the best that has ever played due to his versatility and consistency. Other famous bowlers include Norm Duke, Jason Couch, Patrick Allen, Chris Barnes (who is commonly featured in the PBA's television advertisements), and Parker Bohn III. Old timers who bowled in the 1950s-1970s include Don Carter, Dick Weber, Joe Joseph, Buzz Fazio, Carmen Salvino, and Earl Anthony. Anthony held the record for tournaments won until Walter Ray Williams Jr. surpassed it.
