In Super Bowl (it's two words, people) XLIV, Indianapolis Colts kicker Matt Stover became the the oldest player to start in the Super Bowl. In the 17-31 loss to the New Orleans Saints, Stover was 1/2 on field goals, and 2/2 on extra points.

--------------------------------------- In superbowl XLII, Jeff Feagles, punter for the New York Giants was 41 years old, being the oldest person to play in and win the super bowl in nfl history.
