Robert Mann was the first African-American player to suit up for the Green Bay Packers during an NFL game. He attended college at Michigan and Played for the Detroit Lions before playing three full seasons with the Packers starting with the ninth game of the 1950 season. He wore #31 for the duration of the 1951 season and was the first player to wear #87 for the Packers during the 1952-1954 seasons.
