The Rangers had some good fighters in the last few decades. My picks would be Darren Langdon, Joey Kocur and most recently Dale Purinton (he was an animal) and Colton Orr.
Another not so touted great player and lesser known fighter, IMO, would have been my favorite player who was not so big, but played with a huge heart........Adam Graves!
Avery was also a good fighter but he discouraged the rest of the team
so he was kicked off!!
Also Nick Fotiu and Ty Domi were tough and Ed Hospodar and Chris Nilan. But pound for pound the best and most fearless fighter the Rangers ever had was George McPhee the current GM of the Caps.
He was the greatest hockey player that ever lived. He played for the New York Rangers.
