Most people will say Serge Ibaka but outside of blocks he's just good, not great. Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan are probably still the best, but Josh Smith is also very good and much younger. Pau and Marc Gasol are also both very good.

Don't listen to people who only cite blocks and rebounds. Kevin Love lead the NBA in rebounds by a fair margin over the last couple years and he's average at best on defense.
