Although maybe the greatest pro, Michael Jordan was a pretty good college player
He doesn't seem to show up on any of the current lists of greatest college players ever. But he should be in everybody's top 5. His story is the most fascinating and most incredible in the history of the college game. His accomplishments were phenomenal. Who was he?
Bevo Francis, of Rio Grande College in Ohio. Google hiom and be amazed.
Imo, the best college player of all time was Pete Maravich. He averaged 44.2 points per game throughout his 4 years at LSU, and that was before the 3 point shot. It is estimated he would have averaged 50 points per game if the 3 point rule had been in effect. There are many great college players including Bill Russell, Bill Walton, Oscar Robertson, Lew Alcindor, David Thompson, Dan Issel, and others, but no college player was better than Pistol Pete.
This is debatable. I personally think the top 10 list would be like this.
It was Stephen Curry from Davidson but he got drafted to the Golden State Warriors.
