It depends on what you are looking for. Do you want best percentage in three pointers, or best free throw shooter, best defencive player, most experienced player, there are a lot of things that you could say would make a player the best. But here is my opinion.
The best defencive player would be Dwight Howard. He is a powerful player and is the best on the Orlando Magic. He has helped them win many games and got them to the NBA finals in 2009. He can also play a ton of minutes because he hardly ever runs out of endurance. I think that he has gotten the most rebounds in the 2011-2012 season. After Dwight Howard would be the Lakers Andrew Bynum. He has similar numbers to Dwight Howard when it comes to blocks and rebounds but Dwight is better.
The best offensive player now would be Kobe Bryant. I am not a fan of the Lakers, I lake the Thunder and Heat the best in case you are thinking that. Overall in the 2012 season, Kobe has been a monster. He scored over 40 points several times in a row in this season. Many people think that he is a ball hog and I will some-what agree but that is because no other laker can shoot like him and score like him. It doesn't help that the lakers bench is worthless. Now, then talking about best offensive players, you have to include the number 2 scorer this season after kobe, LeBron James. He and Kobe are my favorite players to watch because they always make it an exiting game.
So again, Kobe and Dwight are the best offensives and defencive players. The best player ever would have to be Michael Jordan hands down.
Kobe Bryant is the best. Everyone says LeBron James is the next Jordan but he is traitor. He left the Cavaliers even though he was the best on the team. It is like Michael Jordan leaving The Bulls to go to the Lakers. Kobe Bryant is better in skills also. So Kobe Bryant is the best Basketball player in 2013.
