Who is pauline in mother the cheerleader?

Well, fellow wonder. She is not the mother. Throughout the book it is playing her out to be her mother. When really in a part of the book which young Louise Collins is spying on her and Morgan in the Music room She over hears the Tradigy of her mother actually being her dead Aunt. Who had commited suicide by drug overdose with her real dad as well. :) im just puzzeled on her age i forgot it would you know the age of pauline?
