Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Orr never played together in an NHL game, as their careers did not overlap. Orr's last NHL season was in 1978, while Gretzky entered the league in 1979. However, they did face each other in exhibition games and other non-NHL events. Both players are considered among the greatest in hockey history, with Orr known for his revolutionary play as a defenseman and Gretzky for his unparalleled scoring ability.
