Both were very distinctive football players. Pele was an attacking midfielder and Romario was a striker! Pele was together with Maradona the best on THAT position. And Romario was and is without any doubt the best striker ever. He won the World cup, he was fifa player of the year, he was topscorer in every club he played and he scored more than 1000 goals in his career, this is recorded now, it's a fact. There are few people in the history who scored more than 1000 goals, just 3. Tow of these were Pele and Romario as i mentioned.
