Number 45 has been worn by several players in Kentucky Wildcats basketball history, most notably by Jamal Mashburn during the early 1990s. Mashburn was a standout forward who played for Kentucky from 1990 to 1993 and went on to have a successful career in the NBA. Other players have also donned the number, but Mashburn remains the most recognized for his contributions to the program.
