Ryan Zimmerman has the longest streak for a hitter to bat 1000. He was able to continue this string of hits for a total of 13 games. He still holds the record as of 2013.
Yes. A walk does not count as an "at-bat"
I do not ever remember that happening, however, there was one game in 1989 where he was ejected in the first inning for arguing a called strike. Click on the 'Ripken Timeline' link to learn more about The Streak.
You use a base ball bat for hitting
The text below is inaccurate. The Green Bay Packers take the number one spot having sold out every game since November 22, 1959.***Washington Redskins... The have sold out every game since 1968. However, there is a caveat. That was before the AFL-NFL merger. That is not the longest consecutive sell-out of any given current NFL team. The Broncos actually have a longer streak of sell-outs at their games, but they played in a non-NFL stadium (using local college stadiums) and were part of the AFL when the streak began. Even this may come with a caveat as many teams didn't record attendance prior to the merger, and those that did may or may not have done so accurately.
A corked bat might help with hitting the ball a bit but because the mass of a corked bat is different then to a wooden bat that you would be hitting it with less mass witch means you won't be hitting that much home runs form a corked bat. plus the corked bat is illegal to use in professional baseball in America. so if you wanted more home runs don't use the corked bat.
A big bat is a player in the game of baseball who specializes in hitting home runs.
