The record holder is Robert Stewart, according to NHL.com's stats database. He achieved a whopping -260 in only 575 games (from 1971 to 1980). However, note that it appears that before the early 1970's, the +/- stats were not tracked, so its possible that someone was even worst but we'll never know.
