It was also a match where Richard Dunne set a new record for the most amount of own goals scored in the Premier League, with the Republic of Ireland defender taking his tally to 8.

Premier League: All-time own-goals table

8 - Richard Dunne

7 - Jamie Carragher

6 - Frank Sinclair

5 - Henning Berg

5 - Michael Duberry

5 - Rio Ferdinand

5 - Richard Rufus

I was just SO excited when Jamie scored I didn't check my facts. I've waited SO long for that day. Now I'll have to wait some more.

I believe emlyn Hughes holds the record of scroing most goals against Liverpool of any player in their career. These would be own goals whilst he was a Liverpool player!

Dixie Dean of rivals Everton scored 25 or 26 against Liverpool so Hughes must have more own goals than that.
