The only two distinguished players who have worn number 43 for the New York Giants were Pro Bowl defensive back Carl "Spider" Lockhart (1965-75) and Pro Bowl safety Terry Kinard (1983-89). Defensive back Percy Ellsworth (1996-99) is the only other player to have worn number 43 for more than one season (since 1950).
