3) Warren Moon of the Houston Oilers threw for 527 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs on December 16, 1990. The Oilers lost 27-10.
4) Boomer Esiason of the Arizona Cardinals threw for 522 yards against the Washington Redskins on November 10, 1996. The Cardinals lost 37-34.
5) Elvis Grbac of the Kansas City Chiefs threw for 504 yards against the Oakland Raiders on November 5, 2000. The Chiefs lost 49-31.

The QBs that threw for 500+ yards and won are Norm Van Brocklin, Drew Brees, Vince Ferragamo, and Y.A. Tittle.
