The Atlanta Braves have been in Boston and Milwaukee.

AnswerI can name one: The New Jersey Devils (NHL) were formerly the Colorado Rockies and previous to that the Kansas City Scouts.

Of course, there's nothing in the question about how successful they were (Kansas City and Colorado not so much)...hockey fans will know what I'm talking about.

AnswerThe Oakland Athletics were in Philadelphia first, then Kansas City in 1955, and then Oakland in 1968. AnswerThe Baltimore Orioles began play in Milwaukee in 1901, moved to St. Louis in 1902 and to Baltimore in 1954. Answer
  • Carolina Hurricanes (NHL) were originally called the New England Whalers (WHA) and played in the Boston Garden however they wanted to create an identity for themselves and not live in the shadow of the NHL's Bruins. They would move from Boston to Springfield, CT to to Hartford, CT where they would be renamed the Hartford Whalers and absorbed into the NHL. In 1994, they relocated down to Carolina.
  • The Dallas Stars (NHL) also have an interesting history. The California Golden Seals relocated to Cleveland following financial trouble. After 1 year of Cleveland, the franchise merged with the Minnesota North Stars, which would later relocate to Dallas.
  • In 1972, Kansas City would be awarded an NHL expansion franchise. It would last only 2 year relocating to Denver for a short period of time before finally coming to its current location of New Jersey. The team is now known as the New Jersey Devils.
  • Finally, the Quebec Bulldogs joined the NHL in 1919. They would relocate to Hamilton in 1920 and then New York in 1925.
AnswerThe NFL Rams originated in Cleveland (1937), then moved to Los Angeles in 1946, and then to St. Louis in 1995.

What pro team has won the most games?

I would guess the Cincinnati Redlegs because they were the first pro baseball team and baseball teams play a lot more games than do football and basketball teams. The Giants have the most franchise wins but they have been with a couple of different cities. The Chicago Cubs are second. They are both over 10,000 wins but the Giants have about 200 more.

How do you franchise in X City?

You need to build a franchised piece of land in your city if you want to allow someone else to build a franchise. If you want to build a franchised business in a different city then you have to look for the icon on the left side of the screen when you visit other cities and it will look like the franchise land sign. You press this icon in the other city and it will give you a list of businesses you can franchise there. Before you actually select which business you want to build you should contact the person who runs that city as they have to approve your franchise before it will be built. If they don't approve it then it's wasted time and money.

How many cities were the Atlanta Braves ever associated with?

The Atlanta Braves professional baseball franchise began as the Boston Red Stockings, a charter member of the National Association when it was founded in 1871. When the National Association folded after the 1875 season, they became a charter member of the National League when it was founded in 1876. They played under different names in Boston, the final being the Braves, until 1952. After that season the franchise moved to Milwaukee and played there between 1953-1965. The Braves have played in Atlanta since the 1966 season.
