Since 1970, three QBs have been sacked a record of 12 times in a single game:
Officially Mike Strahan with 22.5, however, the NFL has only kept QB sacks for individuals since 1982. Prior to that some teams unofficially kept figures and often credited individuals with more than 22.5, however, they often credited an entire sack to two separate individuals who shared a sack (today each would get 1/2). So these numbers are unreliable, but Coy Bacon was credit with 26, Bubba Baker with 23, etc. however all these numbers drop to 22.5 or less when properly accounted for.
Tom Brady is the most sacked quarter back in the Patriots history. Thru week 2 of the 2013 season Brady has been sacked 306 times.
Patriots sack stats:
Tom Brady 306 sacks / 179 games
Drew Bledsoe 262 sacks / 124 games
Steve Grogan 247sacks / 149 games
Tony Eason 166sacks / 49 games
Jim Plunkett 146 sacks / 61 games
Hugh Millen 87 sacks / 20 games
Matt Cassel 51 sacks / 30 games
Marc Wilson 39 sacks / 30 games
Joe Kapp 27 sacks / 11 games
Note - The NFL started tracking QB Sack Stats in 1969.
From Week 1 to Week 17 of the 2002 season, that is David Carr of the Houston Texans who was sacked 76 times.
