The New York Islanders have Sparky the Dragon as their mascot and he's by far the best mascot I've ever seen. He's got spunk....he always messes with the fans whenever I've seen him. Sparky is truly the most entertaining mascot I've ever seen.
He was originally the mascot of the New York Dragons arena football team. The Dragons used to be the Iowa Barnstormers, but they were bought by Computer Associates, who also owns the Islanders. He was originally the colors of the Dragons team, red and black, but was given the blue and orange to match the Islanders.
