If you're referring to faking an injury, then in American football, no. In soccer (called football pretty much everywhere except the US) it's often called "simulation."
Most likely football, the name in pretty much everywhere other than North America. Soccer is only used to distinguish the game from American Football, what people think of when you say football in NA.

Well actually soccer is the nickname for Football. I am not sure why they changed the name but i could be something to do with the other football that is completely different to soccer. I hope i could help
