Hawkeye Point is the highest location in Iowa. It is just north of Sibley, Iowa, on Highway 60, not far from the Minnesota border. Latitude is 43.46, Longitude is -95.709. Hawkeye Point is the highest elevation in Iowa. It is located approximately 4.5 miles (7.2 km) north of Sibley on the eastern side of Highway 60 and approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) south of the Iowa-Minnesota state border. It is at the southern end of the cattle feeding trough on a farm which will hopefully soon be turned into a park.
