The 7 positions of Netball are;
GS- Who's main aim is to stay in the 'd' and shout the goals
GK- who's main aim is to stop the other team from getting to goals by using there arms.
GD- Is responsible for helping in the middle third and and defending the opposite team. They are also like another GK in a way but for more distance the GD must be very fit and ready to RUN.
GA- The GA is the shouter and is also a very important attacker. The GA normally stays in with the GS but can go up to the middle third if necessary.
WA- The WA is the attacker. WA is the person who gets the ball from the middle third strait into GA or GS.
WD- The WD is a defender and is there to help GD, GK and C if necessary.
C- the C is the person who runs the most the c can go anywhere but the 'd's which is the to places were the GS,GA can shout. The C Helps all the payers out and has to be on the move all the time. C has to be very very very FIT. And be ready to RUN RUN RUN.
Netball is a very fun game and most people enjoy it have fun:)
There are 7 positions in a netball game on each team. They are;
The centre person starts in the small circle in the middle of the court. Centre is allowed every where apart from the 2 shooting semi- circles at either end of the court.
Wing Attack is allowed in the 'attacking' (or their shooting end) 2/3rds of the court, but not in either semi-circle. If you are shooting towards the right, then they are allowed in the centre 3rd and the attacking 3rd to the right, but not in the semi-circles.
Exactly the same applies for Wing Defence, except that they are only allowed in the defending 2/3rds end - and of course not in the semi-circles.
Goal attack is a shooter and is also allowed in the attacking 2/3rds of the court - the difference being that they are allowed in the attacking semi-circle to shoot.
Goal defence is as in the Goal attack, but they defend the defending two-thirds and are allowed into the semi-circle to defend against the opposing shooter.
Goal shooter is allowed into the attacking third only and they are allowed into the attacking semi-circle in order to score the goals. The Goal Keeper is allowed into the defending third only, and they are also allowed into the semi-cirlce to defend against the shooter.
You may swap positions in a netball game during quarter time
you could search the internet for the rules and let them watch netball games on you tube. And if they are in year 6 or bellow you can let them play in school netball.

The difference between basketball and netball is that in basketball you can take more than 2 steps and dribble up the court, but in netball the most amount of steps you can take is 2 and you are put in certain positions. Another difference is that netball is played in thirds and basketball in halves.
You can go onto netball websites like netball Australia and district netball, too.
The positions in netball are WA (wing attack),WD(wing defense),GA(goal attack),GD(goal defense),C(center),GS(goal shooter),GK(goal keeper) That's all.
Its different because indoor netball is more cooler but outdoor is still a bit the same its just to get air for the players .And when its cold the players need to get more hard rock so to be more numb and get harder to play.
Share the netball court into three parts and mark it. In the middle of the netball court put a circle. Make a frame around the court. Then put a D ( semi circle ) in the ends of the court near the hoops. And you're done. Hope that helps
go down or call your local courts or netball center and they will give you a list of clubs where you can go and join at the start of the netball season. hope that helps
