The Chicago Cub Beat the Detroit Tigers in 1907 to win their first World Series title. The following year they won their second and last World Series. It's a long time since the cubs won the world Series and just as long ago a fan could pay under $3.00 to see a World Series. If you had a Ticket today you could sell it for about $2,500. and $1,500. for the stub. I could not find a 1907 World Series Ticket. I did come up with the following World Series ticket prices: 1926 -$5.00, 1919 -$3.30, and 1913 -$3.00 so My guess would be not only under $3.00 but in the $2.00-$2.50 price range. I'm always looking through closed auctions for prices. As soon as I come across a ticket I will up date this post. For more information on vintage baseball tickets visit the link I left below.
