it has to do with which way the ball is facing when you release it. if its facing sideways, go through you throwing motion slowly and see if it is sideways at the release point. some changes you can make if it is would be to change your grip a little bit, mostly just make sure ur fingers are towards the back of the ball, and the thumb is about right on the other side of the white line, somewhat towards the middle. also remember to make sure your elbow leads when you throw. and remember to use you hips and shoulders, don't be all arm when you throw it.
