He is skating now and its taking time but no one knows when he is coming back because if he gets hit in the head again he may be done playing hockey forever. He may come back in the playoffs but don't get your hopes up. I would like him to play but if he is still so so I hope he doesn't because I don't want him not playing for the Penguins ever again. Hes out because of a concussion.

Well since he had a concussion he had to be out for some time. But reporters are saying that he should be back in a week. His symptoms right now are throwing up and headaches etc... We don't want to rush his recovery cause we want Sidney to be 100% healed when he comes back
Sid will return when he's ready, right now he's heading back to Cole Harbor N.S to visit his mom and dad while he gets better, I'm sure the family and friends and home cooked meals will do wonders! He can do very light exercise which consists of light workout's on the bike and treadmill, I'm not sure he hit the weights yet, but i know another aspect was him actually skating again but it was without gear at all, he was just out there in track pants skating around the rink and playing with his stick, he seems to be feeling better but with the way Pittsburgh has been playing without him and geno, and now getting geno back i cant imagine he'll rush his return, so with out a time table there's no real time to tell, but if i had to guess when Sidney would return to the penguins lineup, id guess no later then early march. Get well soon Sid, don't rush things !
Crosby is suffering from the post symptoms of a concussion. Which means no one exactly knows when he'll return. His progress has been slow, and there are no guarantees he'll be back before the end of the season. Penguin fans and hockey fans alike can only hope his progression helps him to a full recovery before the start of next season.
coach bylsma wants to give Sidney all of the time he needs to get back onto the ice. the team doctors recommend that he doesnt go back until he is fully healed. dan bylsma would rather he be able to return to the NHL then to join in with the pens for the playoffs
