I was there during August of 2001 when the Rangers went to the bottom of the 18th against the Red Sox. At the time it was the longest game in Rangers history and I am not sure that record was broken. ---- The August 25, 2001 game against the Red Sox went 18 innings with the Rangers winning 8-7. The Rangers also played an 18 inning game against the Mariners on June 24, 2004. The Rangers won 9-7.
